JOIN US OPENING WEEKEND – Sunday, April 23rd at Constellation Field as we celebrate families with “ausome” kids! Autism spans a lifetime and this event will offer an occasion to bring families together and educate and empower our community. Our goal is to raise autism awareness and acceptance and unite the community to give families, fans and supporters a fun-filled afternoon for everyone to enjoy.
11:00am Families join together pre-game to meet Skeeters players for an autograph session. Parents and caregivers enjoy a social hour with other parents while children enjoy activities with a volunteer buddy in the playground area. Families and volunteers unite for an autism awareness parade around the field.
Judge Hebert and City Mayors join on field to read a Proclamation of support to recognize April as Autism Awareness Month.
2:05pm Play ball! Buddy volunteers leave their new friends to enjoy the game. Hope For Three families enjoy lunch and the ball game. The afternoon ends with H43 kiddos running the bases while the jersey auction closes. Patrons bid during the game on custom designed autism jersey’s worn by Skeeters players and Coaches.
STRIKE OUT is an opportunity that provides community partners the chance to engage a captive audience of over 7,500 attendees with extensive community exposure through sponsorship and underwriting opportunities.
